GEMS From Heaven
GEMS from HEAVEN: Revelation 4:3; 21:10-21
One of the many blessings of freedom in this country is the right to be able to negotiate the price for certain items and make business deals. Some people are very good at while others struggle or do not negotiate at all. However, not everything is negotiable, especially the commands of the Lord.
Here is the GEM: It is imperative that we learn and live the way God instructs in His word. It is not up for negotiation. It is not as a supermarket where one can pick and choose which commands he or she will obey. The new covenant established in Christ is not up for negotiation. It is the directive for how we are to live in God today. Therefore, let us do all that He has commanded us so we may truly live.
Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
