GEMS From HEAVEN
It is a good feeling when someone gives you a call whether you are or have been sick; for that matter, just to see how you are doing. Why? Out of all the people known by that person, we were the one chosen to be called.
Here is the GEM: it is the same with God but on a higher plain. We are sick in our sins. So, He has and continues to call all of us through the gospel He revealed through the apostles and prophets. This calling was written for us to see that we are still important to Him and that He wants to heal and make us His chosen. In order for us to get better, we must choose Him by answering His call.
But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
