GEM from HEAVEN
We all are in search of happiness. But our view of happiness is only temporary because it is based on the possessions of things and just this life. So, the search continues here and there.
Here is the GEM: for the Christian, true happiness is found in the Lord. In fact, the Bible describes it as joy which is deeper and abiding because of its foundation; that foundation is God. Where there is hope there is also joy. Therefore, if our hope and ways are in the Lord so will be our joy.
Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name. Let Your loving-kindness, O LORD, be upon us, According as we have hoped in You.
