GEM from HEAVEN
In an age where those things that are wholesome, good and right are often belittled by the world because they go against its ungodly desires. Because of this, many cave to the pressure and join in the ungodliness that seems to be prevalent. Evil seems to be winning because of the false impression that everyone is doing it then it must be okay.
Here is the GEM: faith in God will always win out in the end. It is that faith that finds God’s approval no matter the pressure. Following the ways of the Lord makes you more valuable then you can imagine. In fact, the world is not worthy of those whose faith is in Him as He sees it.
They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were tempted, they were put to death with the sword; they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated (men of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts and mountains and caves and holes in the ground. And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect.
