GEM from HEAVEN
Today many people crave attention. If they feel like they will not get first place, they’ll do outrageous things, and demonize those things that are right, good and wholesome. To them, fame and notoriety is what life is all about. Many religious institutions have been established in the name of achieving such aggrandizement.
Here is the GEM: in Christ everyone is important and has the attention of the Almighty. He watches over us preparing us to be with Him in eternity as we live in obedience to His will. It does not matter what station in life you are to Him, it is about your obedience and service in whatever capacity you apply yourself in His kingdom.
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.
Psalms 84:10-11
