GEMS from HEAVEN: Revelation 4:3; 21:10-21
Have you ever noticed how panicky situation makes the heart race, makes you sweat and fills the mind with fear? We end up either saying or doing the wrong things. At one time or another, life will present some panicky situations. How do we overcome such situations?
Here is the GEM: for some, medication helps. But most importantly, a full and complete trust in Jesus. With Him, no matter the challenge or the difficulty, we can survive. The disciples became afraid and panic as they faced a raging storm while sailing on the sea with Jesus. When they had awakened Him, He mildly rebuked them for panicking in fear. He spoke and the storm subsided and the waters became calm. Since He is able to do that, think of what He is able to do for our soul when the storms of life rage against us. With Him, we need not panic nor fear.
He *said to them, "Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?" Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm. The men were amazed, and said, "What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"
